Kömmerling 88 MD
Kömmerling 88 is a highly insulated, 7-chamber middle gasket system with a base width of 88mm. While the system reaches an insulation value of Uf = 0.95 W/(m²K) with standard equipment, it easily meets the high “Passive house” energy insulation requirements. The special case here is that: Contrary to similar solutions, this value can be achieved even with the use of reinforcement steel required to reach maximum dimensions and also the use of colored profiles.
This new generation profile system not only convinced us in terms of energy savings, but also enables us to look to the future from an architectural point of view. Thanks to its robust structure, it is possible to use modern functional glasses up to 56 mm thickness. KÖMMERLING 88 also enables attractive facade designs with large window surfaces, with excellent sound insulation values.
